Ok, so yesterday .. eventually got to Skype with Gene for just a few minutes before he had to go to his new job in MOCC on what was supposed to be his day off. He found out there are a few plus sides -- he now gets his own room, with indoor plumbing. Yesterday after work, I was able to Skype with Gene on Mom's laptop (which I am on now as well, since mine is basically dead). Had some coffee & worked on a crossword until Mom & I left for Zumba !
