Yesterday after work, I was able to Skype with Gene on Mom's laptop (which I am on now as well, since mine is basically dead). Had some coffee & worked on a crossword until Mom & I left for Zumba ! It was our last class of this session, but we signed up and paid for next session already. We had fun, need to figure out what that one salsa song is called that I like (EDIT. FOUND IT !). (: Took a group pic too ! Afterwards, we checked on Gene's house/the mail, and picked up Dad and got dinner. We went to Sophie's for Greek food. The old guy that owns the place told me to marry him and I can have Greek food everyday haha, then proceeded to throw in some free falafel. d: Not like I needed that, I already was splitting Greek fries with Dad, and had a gyro sandwich all to myself.
Dad's dietician told him he is doing everything right, so that is good, and told him he can eat more carbs then he has been doing. Roman wasn't able to come over to look at my laptop, said he would try tonight. My sister told me I could come over for dinner soon as long as I bring "desert." To which I replied :
Meagan Millar All we eat is healthy. You can come too but you have to bring desert.
Steffany Kurilovitch A desert ? Like a dry piece of land ?
Meagan Millar Yes. I think it would add a whole other demension to the apartment.

Haha, so that should be fun. I need to find like a cactus to buy her or something ..
Got a text from Gene in the middle of the night, followed by this e-mail, which has us both a little upset --
"So the capt. decided that I am the one that has to go up to mocc to take over for the guy that was having to much trouble. So I have a shift 8pm to 8am and do not get to hang out with anyone pretty much anymore. So there goes my workout and all that good stuff. I do not see any up side to this. I am away from the plane and away from anyone else so that is going to make for boring days and even worse than that I do not know if I will have my day off tomorrow. If not this is the shitty end of the stick I tell you. Who knows maybe it will be ok but I still do not like the idea of learning yet another job or being pulled off the plane. I do not know what to think of this. Bad or good... I just do not know.. There goes any fun,,, I did not come over here to do this.... I wish I knew what the hell anyone was thinking doing this.... So if you are on about 1030 am your time I will give you a call and we can chat. I think that is when I will have to be up by..

He had JUST given me GOOD news yesterday too ! Spacone is leaving the flightline to go to Aero, which means there is a spot opened up for Gene to get back into, which would be GREAT !! He would be doing what he loves again, with people he loves, so he would be happier ! Joe would no longer be his boss (which is good for many reasons). But I think biggest overall, is this is where he wants to be, with people he wants to be with. He will be happy again and not miserable like he has been. But THEN he gets this news !? That he has to learn YET ANOTHER JOB and work ANOTHER SHIFT when he FINALLY got accustomed to the one he's been working !? Now he can't hit the gym, see his friends, go offbase, talk to me, nothing. No plus sides. I'll have to figure out more when he gets on Skype. If it is Capt. Pisano, there must be a reason, though I am thinking it is just because a) he is a fast learner, b) a great worker, and c) he does what he's asked to do/told. Which leads to him getting walked all over in some aspects of his life. Oh well. I hope this works out somehow. We still have 7 weeks left of this BS. Like he hasn't been sick enough since he's left, now he will only get sicker. ):
ANYWAYS, so enough of that. Today is my day off, and supposed to be his, so we'll see how that goes. Jasmine had mentioned maybe going to a museum ? Idk. I hope to have the chance to finish my book. Need to shop for Jen's shower ASAP. Need to call Kia. Need to clean/fill out job apps/do stuff for Gene's house/send out a package to him/scrapbook. UGH I don't even know where to begin with half this stuff. I need to prioritize & get my butt in gear.
AND my Dad just called trying to get me to pretend I am Barbie for one of his students .. Guess I will just go for now, I am very frustrated.
