Alec was not actually sleeping - despite the fact that he was lying down, eyes closed, and breathing deeply - he just looked it. He was actually thinking, which was easier to do when he had no distractions.

He did have a distraction though. He was just waiting for everyone else to be asleep. Until then...

Alec snuck back into the cabin after the late night Stickbug campfire gathering, finding his bed with intentions of sleeping as long as possible.
