Alec was not actually sleeping - despite the fact that he was lying down, eyes closed, and breathing deeply - he just looked it. He was actually thinking, which was easier to do when he had no distractions.
He did have a distraction though. He was just waiting for everyone else to be asleep. Until then...
He'd started out the week - not with a bang, but with a
seizure. Max's, not his, and how good was it he'd come along instead of someone else?
That Monday night had been the
Girl and Boykissy Party, to focus on something completely different. There'd been talking to
Dean,
Jaye, and even
Buffy before the
Girlkissy Event. He really couldn't think of much beyond
"whoa, really damn hot", to be very unhelpfully, but accurately, descriptive. The following boykissy had been... weird. With
Cedric a bit less so than with
Dean. But at least he hadn't had to kiss
Anakin.
Tuesday had been blissfully quiet, hanging with
Buffy and Jaye outside the cabin - and being forced into cell phone shopping with the former before he discussed the basics of his parentage with the latter.
And there was absolutely nothing awkward about
talking to Dean, after the party. Not at all. Really.
Wednesday morning, he'd
picked up his speeder from Flaming(o), and he had to admit that Anakin had some amazing talent there. The
cheerleader meeting afterwards had been pretty unmentionable, except for the completely pointful skirt-ogling, which he'd even been asked to do, yes.
Thursday was class day. Wilderness was all about
making fire, which he didn't mind leaving in other hands, really. In Sex Ed,
Jack was a nice guy,
Dean was himself, and he'd really managed to
smooth things over with D'anna.
He'd then met Buffy for the promised ride on Scott Prince the Flying Wonder Fred Angelina the speeder, which had been a rousing success by Buffy's reaction, and then returned to the cabin for a
relationship talk, which was far more pleasant than he'd been led to believe those sorts of conversations were. The further realization that Jaye was continuing to be very cool as well as Welcoming was also very nice; this dating thing was working out well so far.
He continued to muse on dating and girls and the other so-far very fulfilling aspects of his life while feigning sleep like nobody's business.
When things seemed quiet enough, he got up and left the alcove.
Shortly thereafter, two figures snuck into the Seawhorse bathroom. But at least they were
attempting to stay quiet, mostly.
[OOC: Yes, again! And this is your FTB, as well as your notice that you probably heard nothing. Nothing that would get anything glued to you, anyway.]
