Im in lovely colorado visiting children and grandchildren. The weather is crazy warm! Been to dinners, homecoming parades and the football game...one grandson's soccer game, out with the girls for a late night (still paying for that), went to the skatepark, played some Uno. Whew, I still have 3 days left!

I started a sweater for my grand daughter whilst I'm convalescing.  It has LOTS of pink in it according to her instructions.  She is most definitely a princess :)

She told us "it's a long car ride to Wyonly!"  Yes, but next time, she gets to come by herself for a whole week and will have grandma and grandpa all to herself to boss around, er, hang ( Read more... )

holy moly it's cold!!! the thermometer is around -15 this morning.  the sun is coming out but we are still to have highs only in the single digits.  eeks!
i'd like to go get the paper, but 100 yard or so walk isn't very appealing at the moment.  i'll wait a bit.  today, me thinks, is a good day to make buckeyes and make some gifty breads.

I was getting rather stressed about the JDC project.  There has been a lot of press about how fabulous I am and how I will personally solve all of the county commissioners problems regarding juvenile justice planning.
