Stop trying to win. Declare the game irrelevant. This will drive your mother mad. Granted, it's easier said than done. Far easier, as you have to genuinely not care...
Ex: Don't pre-empt your mother's questions about idony. When she asks, shrug, and mean it. Smile. If she starts nagging, smile (since you've already annoyed her), and tell her that you appreciate her concern, but it's really your life now.
If you ever take this tactic, be prepared to fail at least the first few times, as she will mash your buttons in an effort to not be thwarted.

Oh, I'm sorry. I was unclear. That would probably work on a mother. However, this is MY mother. When have you ever known me to give up on being a jerk because I'm being ignored? Never. I do what my mother and father taught me, I continue to press buttons until I find the right ones. I regularly perform the actions you've described. It doesn't stop her. She's like a juggernaut of nagging for grandchildren and criticism over my wardrobe and haircut. I try not to care, but I casually mention to our office manager that I think the dentist next door is cute, and suddenly my mother has recruited the building super to find out if said dentist is single. The whole situation makes me envy those who live far, far, far away from their families.
