Monday -- Headed to class after work...  (My school allows alumni to audit classes and brush up on skills, at no charge.  VERY Handy for things like a degree in CAD, wherein the program is updated EVERY YEAR.)  Now...  I really like the teacher, he's knowledgeable and has insights which...  I don't always like, but which always make me think.  ( Read more... )

Another weekend come and gone...  I remember many years ago, when a weekend meant two days without responsibility or expectation...

Seems like a waste now!

(On a side-note, in coming up with the weekend count for this post, I learned that I am exactly 1,714 weeks old today, and on Wednesday, I will be 12,000 DAYS old...  God I hate useless knowledge ( Read more... )

I...  cannot understand...  How it is that I have this great office...  tons of space...  Literally 70sf of desktop...  (I've measured)...

AND YET I NEVER HAVE SPACE TO WORK!!!

Today... Marks my 8-Year Anniversary at the office...  Not the comic book store, the store's only been around for 3 years now, (Just clarifying for those who've not been around that long and didn't read all about starting the store as it was happening.)

I did the math...

I have worked 80 hours, over the last 8 days.

I can't remember having ever been this tired, stressed and short-tempered...

However...  In exactly 24 hours, I should be sitting on a plane about to leave O'Hare, headed for FC...  I can survive one more day of this.

I have been...  A bit stressed as of late...

Last Monday, I worked late...

Last Wednesday, I left on time, but Shawn needed me to cover the store, so I worked there late...  (The newly-relocated allhailkush stopped by and hung out at the store with his friend, so it was laid-back...  But still work.)
