I've set my phone to directly receive email that normally passes through my computer first. I have a new, deeper appreciation for my computer's SPAM filters.

Fred still gets terribly upset when I turn off the computer.

UPS dropped off my 500GB hard drive today. I just physically installed it and am running what will prove to be a lengthy formatting.

Luckily, I have my new battery backup in place, because I just had a momentary blackout during which the computer and format kept on trucking.

I got home to find my A/C out. My primary concern in such cases is my computer, the fan for which was audibly chugging away trying to prevent components from burning or melting ( Read more... )

I put a whole other gig of RAM in you. How can you be having this much trouble running Photoshop? Is it because I'm listening to music at the same time? Wimp.

I'm installing new parts in my computer. Apparently, Fred gets really, really, REALLY upset when the computer is turned off. I mean, he is "wake up across the room and come running to see what's wrong" upset.

Already got my new speakers (props to UPS). I also got my new RAM. I's happy.

EDIT:

New speakers aren't as good as the old speakers. Perhaps I should have gone with a 5.1 system. I just didn't want to because I live in an upstairs apartment.
