I got home to find my A/C out. My primary concern in such cases is my computer, the fan for which was audibly chugging away trying to prevent components from burning or melting.
Concern number two is Fred, who seemed nonplussed by the high temps. Just in case, I refreshed his water and put a piece of ice in it. I know he'll just play with it, but it's the thought that counts.
Lately, I have been listening to The News From Lake Woebegone (forgive the spelling) via podcast. Garrison Kiellor is a brilliant storyteller. He still makes me laugh out loud.
I need to remember to cook a prime rib tomorrow; nice and rare.
Jodi and I have a date to go to the Furnace in a couple of weeks. Anyone who wants to join in, let me know.
I burned a one-inch square on my left arm today.
Yesterday at work, we entertained ourselves by "Nexting" people. Only a couple of them demanded their dollar.
