The reason I get to come down to CA every once in a while is work. Specifically, I had individual meetings yesterday, and today, ALL day long, I have training. In two-hour blocks, with 15 minute breaks. And I got stood up for the 7 AM meeting that I got up for. And now they are explaining the concept of SSL to me. Dur. My flight was fine. The takeoff was mildly exciting, but we were having a windstorm. I woke up enough to watch until we were far enough off the ground that I figured the pilot would have a prayer of recovery, and then went back to sleep.
