ION - during last night's woot-off, I had thought I was buying a bag of crap. I clicked the button...and now I have a screaming monkey instead.

Is it me? What's the deal with the monkeys? Why does everyone want them?

Nuts. Not getting the car back today, after all.

My car comes back today - hooray!

At least, it's supposed to... Here's hoping it's back to its old self.

That said, every day this week so far (including today), I have been affected by accident-related traffic in some way. I hope that this isn't a harbinger of doom.

As I've posted, I've had some significant car issues this year. First, in August, was the complete disintegration and replacement of my transmission. Then, in November, two motor mounts and the transmission mount. Altogether, I shelled out $3500 on auto repairs. I have never in my entire life had to pay more than a couple of hundred bucks on an auto repair that wasn't covered by warranty or insurance, so I suppose I should have known the karma truck was coming for me ( Read more... )
