I had my first class tonight! It was 601-Information Use, which sounds dreadfully boring on the syllabus and has a dry-sounding textbook, but at least the professor (a medical librarian at Johns Hopkins during the day) seems nice and fun. Plus, she's a lefty. :) I'm still not sure about the subject matter, but hopefully it'll get better further along in the course.
Also, I recognized someone from the orientation on Monday (one of the people I ate lunch with), so we chatted some more. Yay, I like knowing people. I feel so lost on this campus 'cause it's freaking HUGE. Seriously, I'm coming from a background of 2,000 students at my high school and 1200 undergrads at Bryn Mawr, to this with 26,000 or some such insanely huge number of students. It's rather overwhelming.
