It's that time of year again, *sigh* Time to put the bike away for the winter. I took advantage of some moderately nice temperatures today to ride Bluebird to my doctor's appointment. *sigh* I am ticked off at myself. I am such a klutz. I need a new helmet now. It took an impact this morning that most likely compromised the impact-absorption layer in the helmet. It got whacked hard enough the paint is flaking ( Read more... )

Ah, it's nice to be home :) darph_bobo and I spent the weekend visiting his brother and family down near Mechanicsburg. Since it was going to be a glorious weekend, we took the bikes. It rained today. While I know we need it and it will knock the pollen out of the air (making allergy sufferers rejoice), it's not fun to ride in it. And this front took it good ol' time too.
