*sigh*
What *is* it with my bike and broken or screwed up gas pumps? This is the third time now that my bike has gotten drenched (and I do mean drenched) with gasoline as I was filling the tank.
The first was someone leaving the tab that holds the pump on stuck in the highest setting (I don't know how they managed that one) and I ended up spraying the entire front end of my bike with gas. Ended up having to wash my bike with the washer fluid bucket.
The second time was me lifting the nozzle a little to far and it got all over the tank again.
Today was the third time. First off the nozzle was broken. I could literally turn the nozzle just by pressing it against the sides of my fill cap. Of course, it leaked all over the tank and it trying not to drip on the tank, I ended up spraying the front end again not to mention my tank bag and seat. I ended up washing the front end off with the washer bucket again.
I suppose someone is trying to tell me to wash my bike more often.
