Ever since I got into the Infinite fandom, I've been saving links of fics. However, it got a bit chaotic, so I decided to organize all the links. I went back to the first entry on dashidorawa and from there on I (tried to) read every fic that was posted (I got stuck at November 2011, so I still need to read the fics posted after that date). Then I figured I might as well make a rec list, since I didn't plan on reading 1000 something fics again. I'm going to try to update this list once a month. I know I haven't commented on a lot of these fics, but I plan to comment on all of them once this list is up to date. For now though, I just want to say that all these authors are awesome.

The date at the beginning indicates the date the fic was added to this list or when I first read the fic. The list is sorted alphabetically, so no favoritism there. Also it's split into two parts, since that's easier for me. Ignore the comments I made if you want, it's just me trying to explain why I recommend the fic.

Jan 10, 2012 - A Rough Guide On How To Cope by saracupcaked ; Myungsoo/Sungjong [T] (2.1k)
Summary: What happens after the disbandment.
I just added a short summary, but I don't think I can actually make a proper summary without putting the whole story to shame. I've been waiting to read a fic like this for very long; not because I want Infinite to disband, but because this could make an awesome fic when written well. The author did a great job here, it doesn't focus on the actual disbandment too long, instead it focuses on the aftermath, particulary the aftermath for Myungsoo and Sungjong. It's well written, everyone is portrayed exactly how they are in real life and I really, really liked this.

This is such a lovely fic. This author has a special way with words; the way she played around with the word infinite is wonderful.

Summary: Nam Woohyun grows into Infinite's Woohyun.
This is amazing. I love all the different parts where Woohyun meets the others, developing into a different person every time. This is such a beautiful fic.

Summary: Because I'm doing you a favor.
This fic really hit something deep inside me. The way the author describes Myungsoo, is so typical for how he acted/how he was during the debut of Infinite.
Aug 20, 2012 - Burn by aurelynn ; Myungsoo/Sungyeol [PG13] (~2.1k)
Summary: Sungyeol realizes he's always had this strange affinity with fire.
The theme of this fic is quite heavy and I was a bit reluctant to read it at first. But the author has such a way with words, that even all the heavy stuff, every dark thing, sounds wonderful. The story builds up to something huge and you know it's coming, so when it comes you're left gasping for breath. And then it's finished with one of the most beautiful ending-lines ever.

Summary: the person that you love is 72.8% water.
A sweet story; set in an AU where emotions don't exist anymore. The author created this world that sounds terrible to me, but she wrote it beautifully. I love how Woohyun sees every emotion in a scientific way, while Sunggyu actually feels the emotion. I really enjoyed reading this.
Nov 26, 2011 - Chaos Theory by geuraee ; Woohyun/Sungyeol [G] (+600w)
Summary: They say hurricanes begin in Africa.
This author has a great way of putting facts into the fic, making them work perfectly with the rest of the story. The chemistry between Woohyun and Sungyeol is obvious here, I especially loved their bickering as if they're little kids.
Sep 3, 2011 - Cyclic Constructs by quarticpolynomi ; Woohyun/Sunggyu [R] (950w)
Summary: Woohyun is an arrogant ass. But Sunggyu is worse, in some ways. Especially since he doesn't have to shave.
The use of words and the dynamic in this fic is amazing. Someone commented on this fic saying it felt like Woohyun and Sunggyu switched personalities, and in a way it feels like that, but at the same time I can't help wondering if this is how they are in real life. They just show a certain image on stage, but maybe reality is different.
Jan 19, 2011 - Diamond In The Rough by xfragments ; Woohyun/Hoya, Woohyun/Sunggyu [PG13] (~1.2k)
Summary: Woohyun doesn't like doing what's expected of him such as liking Sunggyu. He's into contradictory things such as Hoya.
This fic is wonderful. Sunggyu accepted everything a little too easily in my opinion, but nonetheless I loved the end where the author decribes the difference between on stage and off stage.
Sep 15, 2011 - Double Dare by pikagyu ; Dongwoo/Woohyun [R] (21k)
Summary: Because Dongwoo is a man, and men always do dares.
Oh god, a crossdressing!Dongwoo and a high school AU. The plot is amazing and the author wrote it really well. I love the little moments between Woohyun and Sunggyu, even though some of them made my heart ache, Sungjong and his knowledge of girl stuff and just everything. It's quite a long read, but it's definitely worth it.
Jan 10, 2012 - Dream-Catcher by onew ; Sunggyu/Woohyun [PG13] (~1.3k)
Summary: There are dreams that are hard to ignore.
The whole idea behind this fic is wonderful. Woohyun having this dreams which bother him, but Sunggyu is so light and easy-going about it. They have this chemistry, but at the same time the author didn't make that the focus of the story. The end closes the story in a beautiful way.
Aug 31, 2011 - Drowning In You by whitewires ; Dongwoo/Hoya [R] (5k)
Summary: While all the other boys are busy falling in love with girls, howon was busy falling for his best friend.
This fic lured me in from the first couple of sentences I read (well, the summary lured me in and then those sentences pulled me in further). I love the different situations in the beginning, they fit perfectly. And then the author brings them back at the end and it gets even more perfect. Howon is such an idiot here, but he makes up for it eventually.
Jan 18, 2012 - End Of The World by deasyellow ; Myungsoo/Sungyeol [PG13] (~2.6k)
Summary: They are lucky Myungsoo has just come back from Japan and is too lazy to unpack his belongings, because to escape, he thinks, they need to hurry.
Sometimes I wonder if the boys would feel like this in real life. If they do, I think they should just follow the basics of this fic. Anyway, it's a really cute fic. The escape isn't just to 'escape', but to find answers. The author has a great way of describing things, it makes everything feel realistic and you can imagine the scenes easily.
Jan 19, 2012 - Erased Yesterdays by deasyellow ; Woohyun/Sunggyu/Dongwoo [PG] (2.1k)
Summary: When Sunggyu starts to forget, Woohyun and Dongwoo stay.
This fic is beautiful and heartbreaking, making me cry but look at it in awe at the same time. From the start I told myself I wouldn't cry, but with every paragraph I read the tears just started flowing, until I could hardly read anymore. The ending is so sad, but it's wonderful and there's just no words to describe how much I love this.
Jan 15, 2012 - Eternity And The Problems It Comes Packaged With by sunqyeol ; bandfic [G] (+400w)
Summary: "Forever," they said, but they didn't know what "forever" would mean.
*doubles over in laughter* This fic is pure crack, as in 100 percent of funny situations and statements. Just thinking about Infinite being grandpa's is hilarious and the author made such a wonderful fic of it.
Sep 5, 2011 - Everybody Walk The Dinosaur by nerveless ; Dongwoo/Hoya [NC17] (~8.7k)
Summary: Hoya goes on an archaeological field trip to Peru for school and discovers a new species of weird boy in his tentmate.
I think I've read this fic five times already and my love for it intensifies everytime I read it. The AU the author created is awesome by itself, but the way she wrote it, the characters, the tension, just everything about it is wonderful. Howon keeping a diary, Dongwoo being his dorky self and the appearances of random people makes this a really fun fic to read.
May 22, 2011 - Hey Mami, You Sexy by pikagyu ; Dongwoo/Myungsoo [R] (2.1k)
Summary: Dongwoo is everyone’s mami.
This is pure brilliancy. I remember watching Wowman and I really wanted to read a crossdressing!Dongwoo fic, then I stumbled across this one. I love how all the members are suddenly treating Dongwoo differently and Dongwoo is just very innocent about it all.
Apr 12, 2011 - Holding Hands by bidachii ; Sunggyu/Myungsoo [G] (~600w)
Summary: It was a baseless worry, really, but Sunggyu couldn’t help but think about doing romantic things with Myungsoo, who was his junior by three years.
Rare pairing much? Maybe that's why I like this fic, because there's hardly any Sunggyu/Myungsoo out there. Sunggyu pining over Myungsoo is really cute and I love how Myungsoo is just straightforward.
Jun 19, 2010 - I Can Fix That by yunho ; Myungsoo/Sungjong [PG13] (4k)
Summary: Sungjong sometimes needs help with little things, like fixing his hair. Myungsoo is more than willing to help.
This is absolutely adorable. I always love the authors work, but unfortunately for me she often writes fandoms I hardly read (maybe I should broaden my interests). So I was really happy to find out she wrote for Infinite too. Myungsoo and Sungjong are both adorably confused, they don't realize what's going on just yet. Myungsoo is a cold person, Sungjong seems like an adorable school girl and don't they make the cutest couple ever? There's also a sequel to this, Beast, which has a little more drama in it, but it also has a lot of fluff. This is just as perfect as the first fic is.
Jan 18, 2012 - Ignition by halcyondusk ; Hoya/Dongwoo [PG13] (~2.8k)
Summary: The best dancer in Busan finds his position threatened by a Gyeonggi boy with too many teeth.
It's wonderful how the boys are both dancers, somehow battling against each other, while they don't really want to battle. Dongwoo is adorable here, Howon clueless and Myungsoo a bastard. I love this AU, the author really made something amazing of it.
Jan 15, 2012 - In Which Infinite Travels to New York City and Befriends (Allegedly) Rabid Pigeons by canttakeabreath ; bandfic [PG] (2.1k)
Summary: Infinite goes to New York City. Everyone ends up regretting this, except possibly the dinosaur on the fourth floor of the Museum of Natural History, but this is only because Sungyeol deems him inedible.
This fic is brillant. Read it. The bantering, Sungjong and his Beyoncé comment, Myungsoo being forced to keep silent, Sungyeol's craving for food...and basically everything and everyone in this fic is perfect, I absolutely love it. Also read the sequel, In Which Woohyun Is No Longer A Pigeon and the sequel to that, The Mesozoic Era, which are both filled with more crack.
Jan 18, 2012 - Incompleteness Of You by deasyellow ; Hoya/Dongwoo [R] (13k)
Summary: It starts when they overhear Dongwoo’s parents talking with the doctors in the hallway, when they just come back from the cafeteria of the hospital.
Mind the warning the author has put up! This fic is one that I will remember for a long, long time. It's so breathtakingly beautiful, it broke my heart and made me cry, but it's so beautiful. This fic slowly builds up until it reaches the climax, to the thing you know is going to happen, but you don't really want to think about it. The characterization is wonderful, as well as the flow of the story and the concept. Reading this, you feel the pain and sorrow in every word, mixed with words that convey hope and love. There's so much emotions and feelings hidden behind those words, at one point I just had to stop reading because it overwhelmed me. I love this so much, I'm prepared to take all the heartbreak and tears if only I can read this forever.
Jan 10, 2012 - Intimate Note by onew ; Myungsoo/Sungyeol [PG13] (811w)
Summary: Distance is the leap of faith between lover and friend. Intimacy is the thin line in between.
It's one of the first Myungsoo/Sungyeol fics I've read, before the pairing got so popular, and I absolutely love how they're insecure but very confident at the same time. The way they hold hands on and off the stage, cheeky Sungyeol and wise Myungsoo makes this fic really lovely.
Sep 2, 2010 - Jumping Over Time For You by intorolude ; Myungsoo/Sungjong [PG] (660w)
Summary: Sungjong likes to pretend that he's secure about this entire thing - this relationship, this mess of blurred lines and too-fast heartbeats.
I might just like insecure!Sungjong a little too much. The way the author describes what's going on inside Sungjong's mind is wonderful.
Jan 18, 2012 - Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me by aeoliste ; Hoya/Dongwoo [PG15] (~1.6k)
Summary: The break up told backwards.
The concept of this fic is wonderful and it's worked out perfectly. With every step you get to know more about the relationship, figuring out what led to the break up. It's really an amazing fic.
Jan 19, 2012 - Lonely by b2utyjoker ; Woohyun/Sunggyu [G] (+500w)
Summary: Sunggyu is what people like to call 'lonely'. He doesn't think so, though.
This is really cute. I love how the author changed 'lonely' into 'lack of affection', it's definitely something I haven't heard before. And the end absolutely killed me, it's so adorable.
Feb 23, 2012 - Lost in Love by pikagyu ; Woohyun/Sunggyu, Myungsoo/Sungyeol, Dongwoo/Hoya [PG13] (chaptered)
Summary: Nam Woohyun: noun - [1] resident pretty boy and one of the most popular juniors in the entire school. [2] has a reputation of being a jerk, but only because most people don’t understand he doesn’t really mean his insults. It’s just how he shows his affection.
Kim Sunggyu: noun - [1] nobody. [2] a junior just trying to make his way through school and do bigger and better things with his life.
Woogyu: noun - [1] a name given to Woohyun and Sunggyu by his best friend Dongwoo, who happens to know that Woohyun has a crush on Sunggyu. [2] the reason Sunggyu gets crippled for life.
First chaptered Infinite fic I've ever read. I love the AU the author has created, the relationship between Woohyun and Sunggyu, the plot, everything really. It is quite long, but it's definitely worth spending your time on.

Summary: Woohyun struggles with dance. Hoya struggles with his pride.
Ah, I love trainee!Infinite fics, especially when it's written like this. The friendship between Woohyun and Hoya is lovely here, you just know there is something more going on, but the author never mentions it. A wonderful read.
Jan 11, 2012 - Of Beautiful Faces And Reassuring Whispers by vocaris ; Myungsoo/Sungyeol [PG13] (~1.1k)
Summary: Sungyeol is insecure and Myungsoo seems to know nothing.
added the summary. Sungyeol worrying about how he looks breaks my heart, especially when he starts comparing himself to Myungsoo. And even though Myungsoo acts like he doesn't care, he actually does and the author put that into words in a brilliant way.
Aug 15, 2011 - Of Kisses And Guns (And Neither Are Romantic) by yeolbear ; Myungsoo/Sungyeol [PG16] (7.8K)
Summary: When you give your heart to someone, does that mean you die too when they do?
AU's are my favorite thing to read. This one was no exception. The fic is about gangs and the author portrayed that world so well *dreamy sigh*. The relationship of the group is wonderful, a tiny bit of real life mixed with fantasy. You get lured further and further into the story with every sentence you read and everything just builds up and I admit I had tears in my eyes once I reached the end. This fic can't be described in any other way, than that it's a piece of art.

Summary: Well, Myungsoo just doesn't want to lose to a pack of biscuits.
This is really sweet. Myungsoo knowing he might lose to that pack of biscuits and Sungyeol always getting what he wants, makes the cutest combination ever.

Summary: Woohyun learns to talk.
This was wonderful. Words failed me when I tried to comment on the fic (how ironic), because it's so precious. Woohyun being curious and learning how to talk gave me a fond smile, he reminded me of a little kid saying his first words.
