We achieved some wallpapering of the living room today.  (This was only stopped prematurely when we ran out of wallpaper paste).  hammerhydra wrote "One ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them (with duct tape)" to weird out future wallpaper-strippers.  Work is coming on apace.  The store was out of the textured wallpaper we'd chosen, so now we ( Read more... )

I have declared (a half-arsed) war on moths.  We have moths infesting our house, and anything woollen gets savaged, however carefully I think it's sealed up.  The war is currently half-arsed because the major problem is the threadbare woollen carpet in the living room.  The reason it is threadbare may be something to do with it being infested with ( Read more... )

We got quite a lot done this weekend. 

• I completed the applique for the banner I'm making for Griff and Ceri's wedding.  The whole thing needs hemming, but that's not really a big deal.  I'd post pictures, only it seems unfair to let other people see it before they do.
