sim_spiration is holding a Myshuno! event in October and I've signed up.  Basically you get a Myshuno! card with twenty-four prompts on it, and the goal is to write up as many of those prompts as you can by January.  I don't know how many I'm going to get done, but I'm go to try for a black-out.

I really don't know at the moment if I'll get chapter 25 finished by the 27th.  I really want to and it would be possible if I could just get working on it.  But I'm feeling spectacularly uninspired right now and the more I force myself to work on the chapter the worse I feel about it ( Read more... )

Chapter 24 is coming along nicely, I've settled on the chapter structure finally and am making pretty good progress.  At the moment it's sitting at 70 slides that are at least partially done with 32 of them complete with both pictures and text.  I have two more scenes to add so I figure the final slide count will be 80-90, not my longest chapter ( Read more... )

Yesterday I finally realised why I'd been stalling on chapter 24 and I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me earlier.  Why I was trying to write a chapter that's 90% gameplay based without referring to the pictures I already have I don't know.  Now that I've set up a ppt and have started organising my pictures and what text I already have I feel ( Read more... )
