I'm behind on commenting again (I am up to date with reading and I've loved all the recent updates); I'm going to try to do something about that soon.

Chapter 23 won't be out by the end of the month (unless something miraculous occurs) but I still hope to have it out by the end of the year. I'm getting rather nervous about this chapter - it's a huge part of the plot I've been working on for over a year, the final image in this chapter has been in my mind since I was in Amsterdam. The chapter marks a major turning point for both Edward and Esme and I just hope I can do it justice (and that people won't hate what happens in it).

So far I've written the beginning and the very end and I have most of the structure in the middle sorted but not written. I've got pictures for one scene plus the alien pictures that only cover about two sentences.

I'm not sure how much detail will be visible in those alien pictures when I put them in the chapter (there are twelve of them so I'll be putting more than one on a slide) so I thought I'd share them here full-size:
