I remember reading this book when I was 17 (2008) but I can't remember the title or author. The book was written by a woman about her experience of depression and of being institutionalised. The book started with her talking about decorating and working on her house, I think her, her husband and their children moved a lot? She then tries to swerve off the road in her car but she doesn't know why. She ends up being cared for in an institution and she tries to jump out the window and escape and I think commit suicide. She also describes her therapy sessions and eventually she discovers she was sexually abused as a child (her trigger is a fur coat??) and the emotions have started to resurface in her adult life.
Any help would be fab, thanks!
