Online library of smutty pulp paperbacks?

That's pretty much it! I remember the site was grey and fairly well organized. I don't remember any ads or anything, and the full books were available and usually separated by chapter. There were A LOT of books and it wasn't at all restricted to one subject. I'd say the publication dates range from the fifties on but I don't really know. There were cover pictures 90% of the time but it wasn't a gallery of covers like Gay on the Range or anything.

I feel like it wasn't at its own domain and it started as somebody's pet project. All of the books were hilarious in one way or another but it was not a snark site. I want to say the site was xlibrary or something but that's too generic to be helpful.

Help? This is one of those sites I stumble on all the time but whenever it comes up in discussion or whatever it just disappears

eta: it isn't literotica or asstr or nifty or any of those -- these had been PUBLISHED books. the site was probably sort of dubiously legal copyright-wise because I'm not sure if they were all public domain, though they were almost certainly all out of print.

1950s, animal, image, book, short story, website, product, advertisement
