help with a movie!!
there is this movie that i watched once and i cant remember the name. some one please help me.
the movie is about this kid, that i think was in a concentration camp, then he somehow escapes or is let go, he travels thru some countries, at some point i think he is in italy, then he crosses the border with an old lady and has to find his mom, and his mom has written a book about him and what had happened..ohh and i think the old lady painted or something like that.
i dont know if im confusing two movies or if its the same one, but that is how i remember the movie...please help me if you know the title
