I'm looking for a console video game that came out sometime in the early-mid 90s. It's fairly colorful and if I remember correctly you could send letters and stuff and there was also some sort of shopping center. Yeah, I was thinking this too, console-wise, but Animal Crossing came out in the early 2000s.

No, it definitely wasn't Animal Crossing. I'm more-or-less familiar with that xD

Hmm, the one I am thinking of was definitely in the early 90s because my cousin was the one who owned it and he was still a pre-teen and I was a little kid at the time.
