Apparently my little sister's friends are insanely lucky with shinies. They've managed to breed multiple gold-colored magicarps from both shiny and nonshiny parents on HeartGold, and one of them has a shiny kyogre on his Saphire game.

Having seen some old episodes of pokemon, strange thoughts have occured.
1. Pokemon has many, many episodes that have almost nothing to do with the pokemon themselves. What these episodes actually are about is so strange it probably ranks up there with some short-lived cult animes in bizzareness.
