Yes, it's too early to talk about Christmas, but if you're looking for a GREAT movie, you should see the TNT version of A Christmas Carol.  It features Patrick Stewart as Ebenezer Scrooge, and he just acts the HELL out of it.  His range of emotions is just incredible and he doesn't get too cheesy or over the top.  Stewart just pours himself into ( Read more... )

Shrek III - 4/5 (good if you like Shrek, so-so story)

Spider-Man III - 4.5/5 (they could have left Venom out but at least he looked cool)

Pirates III - 4/5 (a worthy sequel, and a MUST-see on the big screen. NOTE:  I have tried to watch the first one twice and fallen asleep both times.)

Shrek the Third was great.  If you like Shrek's previous adventures then you can't really go wrong here.   Crowd was really into it.

Look out for the ass-kicking princesses.  Snow White = HOT (Beauty was a close second)

A new movie theater opened up in the downtown area recently called Living Room Theaters. It's a little snooty and pretentious but they specialize in movies that aren't playing at chain theaters.
