Beth and I made it home from MFF yesterday night. It was a relatively decent time when we got home, but I had to drive out to her parents' house to pick up the dogs while she had to go in to work for a few hours. Even though October is always very busy for me, I am making some progress on my Halloween costume. There is still a lot left to go, and I hope I can finish it. A lot of little details can pile up. Maybe I should take some days off from work so I can work on the costume and other Halloween things. :)

I probably could have taken today off since it was my birthday, but if I did I still would have had to do work at the house. I just changed the oil in my Blazer and am doing laundry as I type. I still have a few things to do before heading out to Fayetteville on Friday for Homecoming. Plus, I should work on my Halloween costume, too ( Read more... )

This past weekend was somewhat busy. Saturday, my sister needed to go shopping at Walmart, so I had to go with her. I didn't mind. I was able to talk her into going to the fabric store to help pick out material for a potential Halloween costume. Well, the project is almost done, but then there's another huge one looming on the horizon. This time it's all the fixes that they want made to the basic functionality of all the lessons (not just the ones in my project) to do all the stuff that they specifically said they didn't want before. This weekend, Mom needs to get out of the house. Dad isn't working this weekend, and so Mom will be free to go do something while Dad stays at home with my grandfather.
