Post-surgery update part deux
Called my Mom on the way home from work to check in and see how Dad is doing. Got to talk to her, my Aunt MJ, and my Dad! He's out of ICU and they had him walking all over the hospital already today! They're saying he might be able to go home on Sunday. So all the vibes and prayers and karma and good thoughts have really been making a difference. He sounded perfectly normal on the phone (yesterday after surgery he was really raspy), and his skin color/tone is better than before the surgery!
So everything seems to be on track!
In other news, I missed out on finishing up a couple of huge projects at work by being out of town at the hospital.... several people had to stay til 7 PM!
