46. Chain of Evidence - Ridley Pearson - 348 pages. Another crime/investigation mystery thriller from Pearson. This guy is a cop who lives alone with his dog who is ancient and athritic. There are a series of suicides in his town that just don't seem right. The story follows the investigation that leads to a former mentor, a drug test run by a genomics company, and a variety of other players. Pretty good read. I just really like the way the author writes and how you feel that you really get to know the main characters.
