Small earthquake and transit of Venus.
I've missed talking science and natural wonders of our earth and universe. So in the last few weeks a couple of things have happened nature wise.

So many things I may do this week. Authors galore. Isobelle Carmody may come to within 1-2km of my house today. She says its a confirmed event (at the library) though I've only seen the other library a few suburbs down advertising her, so I'll go early and check things out. :P

Chilean ash cloud
Sorry for double posting two days in a row, but I felt these pictures and information was necessary and interesting.
Link about the Chilean volcano and ash that went higher in the stratosphere than usual.
Things have calmed down a bit though there are still no flights between New Zealand and Australia for tomorrow.

~Heading is related to the fact I did have vegemite on my breakfast muffins today. And the issue of salt in our pre-packaged foods has come up again in the news. Okay well Earth Hour is on again this year, always the last Saturday of March so tomorrow.
