"The heat is on!"
~Wow, LiveJournal kind of threw a hissy fit on me yesterday...so after I finally posted I didn't end up really managing much else. ie reading/commenting the flist. And I had so many comments spit out at me...so... if you thought I was meant to be commenting..sorry.
~Also, that caused me to be unable to post my section of fic...so if I manage to write something more in a bit, I'll *fingers crossed* try to post that...
~I'm hearing reports of Supanova to be both brilliant and crazy (good and bad crazy). For bad mostly the lines, which I know are hard to control, both entry and waiting for photos/autographs. But debs7 said she saw quote "So far I've seen 2 Tens, 2 Fours (with scarves), a Captain Jack and a Time Lord in formal robes."
~I think some day, i'd like to just go and wander around (actually much like my 2hrs at Armageddon last year..) and people watch. (And run into -yes, actually run into because that would be awesomely embarrassing- celebrity guests or have them stand 1 foot from you with their wheely suitcase whilst you stare in shock *Paul McGillion*) I would really like to dress up as something, but...have no idea what I would or should do... I thought after seeing that comment above, that if I was to dress up this year (which I highly highly doubt...seeing as i'm not sure I'm going/when) I would have to do something fairly easy. The only thing I could come up with was Martha Jones. (Actually, I look more like Gwen or Tosh don't I? But Gwen doesn't really have a standout style, that's the point of her...) Either Doctor!Martha: get a lab coat, plus its easy to stow away to/from venue. ;) Or leather jacket Martha: yes, this *does* mean I could have an excuse to buy myself a jacket! I'm not silly, its got to be worth it. :P
~So what would you guys dress up as? A wraith? That would be fun. *g* Anyone want to share their secret cosplay fantasies, even if you think you'd never wear *that*.
~My big all out dress ups? Hm... after seeing Firefly I guess I have to say Inara with the beautiful grace and clothes (just to feel so different for once -since that's kind of what its for), Xena-warrior Princess...but HELL if I could OR would pull it off! I don't really even wear singlet/tank tops let along nothing but arm bands and wavvy hair! Storm, Rogue, Abby Sciuto, Sailor Moon(s) a few choices, Phantom of the Opera etc. There's nothing that *stands* out that I *must* do right now...and I'm blanking on male characters which is sad...Batman? I don't know...

~Did you hear about the cool new archeological find?? Possibly the species between Africanus and Homo Erectus! That's exciting! But i'm glad I don't have to re-learn it for my biology exam from yr 12. I wish I could hear them argue about the naming, too cute. ;)
