From my Halloween season daze.

Here's some of what we were up to this year!

Includes pictures of the props we made for Dark Hollow Haunted Forest, the kids' costumes, and a few surprises.

I was working at the haunted forest tonight. I’m a grandma cannibal hillbilly who distracts customers from the fact that a guy with a chainsaw is about to jump out and chase them around. I took the Thursday and Friday after Halloween off, to try to recover from the stupid virus that had been plaguing me for nearly two weeks. I felt a little better after sleeping 12 hours Wednesday night, but I still had a gnarly cough and a headful of evil. But we had a par-tay to get ready for, dammit!

It was a rough leadup to Halloween this year. I'd been busy as hell all month, then sick for the week and a half before the Big H. But I still plugged along with my homies at RealNetworks, preparing for the big day. This year we picked Real Zombies as our theme.
