Last Minute Caterer or Last Minute Reception Ideas?
Our caterer fail through but I can't say that I am surprised. I am just seriously irritated that my dad would not tell me about his plans until just now. She was/is a professional caterer and he had nothing but glowing reviews of her food. However, she has went awol or something.
So...10 days until the wedding. My dad said he will still pay for the caterer but I have TEN DAYS to find one?! I have more than a 1/2 dozen e-mails to various caterers. If all else, I will just get some platters from Sam's. It's really the kind of stuff I would want anyway: finger sandwiches, fruit/veggie trays, and so on since it's a 3 o'clock reception.
I don't know what else to do. Do you guys have any suggestions? I am in Charleston, WV if any of you might know a caterer in the area?
ETA: After sending out a 1/2 dozen e-mails, I got a few bites! We found a caterer who is available and is full service! Yay!
