I've been pretty busy lately, getting things organised, and dealing with things that I had to put off because I was so busy with prac and uni - but anyway, amidst all of it, I sorted out some things! I got this box, organiser thingy mahjig from the Reject Shop, for $5, and it is awesome!

Finally! The clay figurines are dry! And instead of finding out how to get my teacher registration, and start registering . . . I got side-tracked, and got way too excited and ended up painting two of the figurines! Anyway, here is a video I took of them when I had just finished painting them:

The school term has finished! And I have two weeks to myself! To prep for next terms lessons, mark work, get my reflections up to scratch, make rubrics for assessment, plan an intervention program etc etc, while also, cleaning up my room to put in the new computer, photograph the rest of my things for etsy (not to mention, edit and watermark them ( Read more... )

Since it was (chinese/vietnamese/asian etc) New Year's today, and because it was the year of the Dragon, and I was and my twin was born on the year of the Dragon, we went around greeting and well-wishing our relatives today, and was vegetarian for the day ^_^ So I didn't get much work done, heh.

Lately I have been thinking of getting badges made to sell at Wai-con. For starters, buying the badge making machine is really pricey, and the time to make the badges will take a big chunk of time I have to make everything else. So I have decided that if I am to include badges, I will have to get someone on Etsy or something, to do a custom order, ( Read more... )
