Sorting

I've been pretty busy lately, getting things organised, and dealing with things that I had to put off because I was so busy with prac and uni - but anyway, amidst all of it, I sorted out some things! I got this box, organiser thingy mahjig from the Reject Shop, for $5, and it is awesome!

It has 24 compartments, and the number of compartments and sizes are adjustable! So what did I fill mine with?

Ta-dah! So many things! Starting from the top left corner and going down, I have polymer canes, and buttons for the eyes for softies and hats, over in the next column, and starting from the top again, I have hot fix rhinestones, pink fawn cabochons, more hot fix rhinestones, googly eyes and more buttons as eyes for softies. On the third column, I have dark silver adjustable ring blanks, pink and red strawberry cabochons with dark silver and silver adjustable ring blanks, some mini glass jars filled with glitter, red and black buttons for softie eyes and blades I use to slice the polymer canes.

Fourth column is silver adjustable ring blanks, hello kitty heads and hello kitty cameo cabochons, with silver metal dragonflies, empty mini glass jars, and lastly, various sized and types of magnets. Second last column is keyrings with attached lobster clasps, some polymer canes I use often, along with some assorted gems and rhinestones, mini glass jars with glitter in them, and at the bottom, earring studs.

And for the final column, I have oyumaru, and assortment of fawn, hello kitty heads, hello kitty cameos, pink and red strawberry cabochons. Next ones, are an assortment of cabochons, like pearls, metallic beads, little raspberries and apples - etc, and then some more mini glass jars filled with glitter, and lastly, some fuwa fuwa glitter glue, plastic tweezers, and some gold keychains.

This organiser helps so much in sorting everything out! Before, I would have to find and pull out a number of containers to get all the things I need, and now, it's all in one place! Bliss! And it saved some space in my closet storage too ^_^ I actually need to go and buy a few more, as there are still some things that would be perfect to go into such a thing, not to mention, I'm planning on buying and stocking up on some more cabochons!

Also, I wonder how everyone else sorts and organises there knick knacks, and findings for their crafts?

But, moving onto an unrelated photo:

My worktable has never looked so uncluttered! And neat! And yes, the figurines still need a coat of gloss - I still have to get around to do that! XD

Oh, a few pictures of Leila! She dislikes this kind of position, so it's rare to get such a photo!

This is almost like a portrait shot of her, ohohoho.

And she just looks hilarious here!

And on another (last) random note, being the geek that I am, I got this crate thing for my teaching-related-stuff! It's a foldable crate, that has a handle that you can pull up to drag it along behind you by its wheels! Argh! So useful! A-aaand I've now just become the stereotype of a teacher, in that I'm referring to how you would see a teacher wheeling behind her a crate full of files and books . . . .  XD
