White House Press Secretary Tony Snow was asked if "we would have permanent bases in Iraq."

He responded by saying, "that's depends on what you mean by permanent."

That sounds an awful like, "that depends on what the definition of "is" is."

My pledge class namesake gives the government some exceptionally bad marks in their anti-terrorist preparation, as the 9/11 Commission reviews how the government has attempted to deal with their findings released in the 9/11 Commission Report.
