Ow! My fucking eye!

I soaked my contact lenses in cleaner that I don't use normally. Usually I store them in saline but they were cloudy so I used the disinfectant/cleaner stuff... I forgot you're supposed to rinse the lenses with saline before putting them in your eye.

GODDAMN THAT HURTS.

Fucking CHRIST.

I will NEVER EVER do that again.

My eye feels a lot better today but still isn't back to 100%.

I think it may have been irritated by something, but I'm not sure.

I wasn't lucky enough to find somewhere to go get it checked out.

Ugh.

Because I felt ill, I spent all day in bed eating soup and watching/listening to science videos.

And work starts at 7:30AM tomorrow... So lame.

I'm in a world of pain right now. There's something wrong with my eye and I don't know what it is. I've developed terrible sensitivity to light, icky redness, slight swelling and cloudy vision in my left eye, and I have no idea what is causing it ( Read more... )
