Oh merfilly? You might be interested in this. It's an interview with Bruce Davison who plays the President in "JL: Crisis on Two Earth". The interview comes with two bonus images I haven't seen before.

CBR has a preview up for Captain America Reborn: Who Will Wield the Shield?": The artwork is gorgeous, especially the black and white work, but I liked Jackson "Butch" Guice on Crossgen's Ruse, so it's not surprising. And my descent into Marvel continues. I had added the "Ultimate Avengers" animated movie to my Netflix queue after it was first released. I had actually picked up the first "Ultimates" trade before my recent interest in Cap. I think it was because people kept touting how different it portrayed everyone. I was looking at the images from the upcoming Superman/Batman: Public Enemies animated dvd and did a doubletake when I saw this image. neotoma, greenygal and I were just talking about two of these villains. Although really you need Killer Frost to complete the icy set.

So the Fleischer Superman cartoons have been released in a gorgeous new two disc edition: Max Fleischer's Superman 1941-1942. If you've seen the public domain versions from the dollar bin, these have been restored from their original masters in all their glory ( Read more... )

So ToonDisney is getting a makeover, becoming Disney XD in February. The good news is I'm not losing my semi-daily dose of Marvel or DC cartoons. In fact, BTAS and STAS are back to normalish schedules even if it is at 2am, along with special blocks. *swears at Netflix for not having STAS v2* They've added Static Shock to the equation.
