How I spent my weekend that was supposed to be spent in Boston.

I updated my blog that I am using for now to put up pictures from vacations. (And to keep family away from LJ. LOL)

Busy working and reading. I've fallen in to some weird other world where I spend all my free time reading. Like seriously, hours upon hours - reading.

1. M&Ms and Sour Patch Kids do not a good dinner make.

Hmmm. So, last week I felt the earth move under my feet. Kinda cool.
Friday night hurricane winds and rain knocked our power out and it didn't come back on until last night. NOT COOL AT ALL. Good-bye groceries.

My daughter just came home from staying at her friend's house last night. She sits on my bed and goes, "First off, this story does not end with me in trouble."

I'm sitting in my home office, and I have my window opened up trying to get some fresh air circulating in to the semi-small room.
My cul-de-sac is pretty quiet, usually. Today, one of my neighbors comes out and starts yelling at her husband (possibly, boyfriend, IDK, IDEGAF - good fences make good neighbors and all that).

I can't believe it's already 7p. If I would have worked today, I would just be finishing my shift. But I took a sick day. JUST 'CUZ. I seriously needed it. I was getting way too mad at travelers and airport personnel and hotel vendors. *whoosh* shakes it off!
