The Giver was very well received today at NAMT!
The audience was responsive and engaged. This is why I love performing for other theatre people. They understand how much work and artistry goes into even a 45-minute presentation. I have a show tonight at 10 pm. It's gonna be a late night.
I'll be jumping in my car at about 7 to get to rehearsal/warm-up at 8:30.

    Today is our RN, Debbie's B-day!! We brought her gifts and I made cookies. All is well
    Then the Dr (who I adore, even though she is rabidly republican) starts talking about immigrants taking over the country and the pope's visit... yadda yadda... kind of ended the mood for cookies. But Debbie enjoyed her birthday, so, Yay!
