I have a show tonight at 10 pm. It's gonna be a late night.
I'll be jumping in my car at about 7 to get to rehearsal/warm-up at 8:30.

Final Fringe performance tomorrow at noon. Yay, FringeNYC!!!

1) I get a late start out of the house
2) I run into traffic that is stop-and-go for 12 miles
3) I arrive at work 10 minutes late
4) The doctor has my desk absolutely covered in her research and files, so there isn't any place to do my work
5) There are 3 new patients who need to fill out paperwork and have charts made up

Our office opens at 9. My boss came in, I shit you not, 32 minutes ago.

We have begun the day with over an hour of backed up patients in the waiting room. Not fun.

They were getting kinda hostile. I thought there would be pitchforks and lit torches so they could storm the reception area!

Do you know what I hate about small towns?
People just kinda mosey on into work whenever they feel like it and nobody thinks that's odd.

The town I work in is very small, like, 200 homes small.  The Walgreens down the street is supposed to open on weekdays at 8 a.m. I was just there at a quarter to nine and noone has opened it yet. There were several ( Read more... )
