I was working back at the old company today for the first time in nearly a year. It kind of felt like home.
I know the computer systems, I know how the boss likes things done and though the people and location are new, I just fell right into step.

Our second appointment showed up over 30 minutes late- since we're booked pretty solid today that means we will be running almost disatrously behind.

The gorgeous yarn I ordered for the sweater I'm making arrived yesterday!!!! 
I nearly slipped and died on the driveway retrieving it, but SOOOO worth it :)
The yarn is beautiful and soft and variegated shades of violet, lavender and iris. I wound the first skein into a ball this morning. maybe I'll have time to cast on this afternoon after our last ( Read more... )

Well, it's official. My office hours just got cut.
I'll only be working Saturdays and Sundays now. Meh.

I'm going to have to kick this voice over work into high gear now.

On the upside, though, this gives me one more audition day a week! Monday thru Friday are now "Pursuit of Theatre Time" :)
