Alright. I'm back and in a slightly better mood.

I DID end up going to that callback on Monday (and I kind of rocked it). Now I'll just go about my business and if they offer me the job, cool.

My voice went promptly MIA Tuesday morning, which sucked.
Zev skyped from London and put me on vocal rest with lots of soup, liquids and salt gargles.

The NAMT festival allows each of the 8 new musicals selected to perform a 45 minute "clip" of their show. This leaves us with a condensed version; a highlights-with-basic-plot reel, if you will.
As I mentioned, we are allowed 45 minutes and the festival is very strict about this because they must fit in 8 musicals each day.

Day 2 of The Giver rehearsal was awesome in epic proportions.

I will go into more detail on the morrow, but I will say this- I have now had a scene and song with Terrence Mann and it was everything I thought it would be :)

I will now, happily, go to sleep.

We DID IT! We ran the entire show from top to bottom, with the full orchestra, without stopping once- even when there were slip ups, we continued on as of nothing had happened (very difficult in a show that is entirely music).

We are so hardcore, you guys :)

Crazy rehearsals and full orchestral runs... just in my room for a split second to grab something to eat. We have call back at the theatre at 5:30.

So today is the final day of rehearsals for week 2. Next week, we rehearse at the theatre Monday-Thursday... and we open Friday night.
This is crunch time.
