Last night I made bread that was intended for this week's breakfast toast.
Alas, my yeast had finally gone stale and the dough didn't rise. Boo.

The manager shuffled our positions a bit and I ended up on the side of the building with him and our "bouncer". We were able to amuse ourselves and hand out a few hundred gamecards.

Since there are no branches of my bank in Norfolk, I wasn't able to deposit my weekly checks... I needed to go to the bank badly.

I am in the mood to make Irish Soda Bread.
For some reason, I'm having alot of trouble finding buttermilk.

This is ridiculous! I live in the country! In two directions I am only 2 and a half miles from cows! Surely, there has GOT to be buttermilk to be found somewhere!
