According to Entertainment Weekly, Yancy Butler was arrested January 3 after allegedly punching her father, Joseph Butler, and punching and attempting to bite her uncle Henry Jerome. Once in custody, she allegedly head-butted an officer. Butler's rep had no comment....

Lately I've been revisited by the urge to draw Siobhan Barrett, which is frustrating as usual. My last big urge to put her on paper came during the promotional blitz for Witchblade's second season, when I was surrounded by ads of Yancy Butler wearing her gauntlet. I've been trying to find the time to write this entry for over a month, so it may strike some of you as really old news.

I was heartbroken when Witchblade was cancelled, especially considering the Gabriel-related cliffhanger ending of the season two finale, but I have to admit that the writing staff lost its way during season two.
