I just found out today, Nathaniel Johnstone left Abney Park! I saw on Facebook that they posted a picture of a new violinist, and I thought, that can't be right. Sure enough, Johnstone decided to leave the band and work on his own stuff. This is kind of disappointing since he was my favorite member. I spent the last few days making this. It consists of an HP flash drive, copper wire wrapped around the ends, a spring with a red wire covering in it, a spring with copper inside, a Quartz battery watch movement, and a watch gear. I don't usually plan what I'm going to do, so some things either work out or they don't. But I'm glad this turned out ( Read more... )
