There's a story in the Daily Mail about a trans girl joining the Girl Scouts in the USA deep south and in response three leaders have quit citing that "trans people are dangerous to our children".

Some others have responded tobthe above by assuming that the thought goes that a trans person is dangerous because they pose a threat as a sex offender.

Having just read an article online about a government supported enquiry regarding gay and lesbian affection being banned from our television screens at least before the watershed, I think the suggestion is ridiculous and it's offensive to me.

The Sunday Times magazine last weekend had a lead article about a mixed race family living with and experiencing racism in Surrey. It was very well written and I recommend reading it.
