Here in Sunny East Lansing, we're finally getting our first real snow of the 2009-2010 winter season. We got just enough snow last night so that I had a slushy walk to work this morning. Even though I was smarting over the money I had to spend this week to get my car brakes fixed, I decided to spring for another, less urgent repair. I called yesterday to get an estimate on having my windshield replaced. I found out it would cost a little over $200 and that they could get it done as early as today. I chose to get it over with. In photo school, it was told to me that it is traditional for artistic photographers to make a self-portrait about once a year. When Bryan offered me his car a few months ago, I did initially hesitate just a little bit.
