Made it to Basel, safe and sound! It's always weird living with my parents again, even if only for a few weeks. My dad works all day, though, and my mom is crazy busy with meetings and dinners so it looks like at least we won't be spending every waking moment together. I have arrived (as of yesterday) in the land of the Swiss! The delay in London ended up being only an hour and a half, but added on to my 5 hour stopover it was just too long! I am alive! Honest! I am incredibly behind on LJ, however. I don't think I mentioned it on here, but I was away this weekend to Ontario for a memorial service. Four of us drove down - my brother, his fiancee, and one of their friends. We left Thursday evening and only got back around midnight on Monday. 4200 kilometers!
