No, I haven't forgotten about my Topic Challenge. I have two pending essays, one on the difficulties of parenting, and one on what my job entails. I have been slowly working on them, making notes and brain dumping off and on to collect my thoughts. They *will* be posted before too much longer, I promise.

As I was writing my previous post, it occurred to me that perhaps I need some outside motivation to spark my writing fire. I seem to fall into the same blogging rut, post after post: the kids did something interesting/funny, something on tv was boring/interesting.
