As I was writing my previous post, it occurred to me that perhaps I need some outside motivation to spark my writing fire. I seem to fall into the same blogging rut, post after post: the kids did something interesting/funny, something on tv was boring/interesting. Like many people who blog, I have a secret (or not-so-secret) desire to be heard. I want to have something meaningful to say and I crave the acknowledgement from others that I have, indeed, said something they found meaningful.
