My cousin, Tony, has cancer of the mouth. They've removed most of his tongue and he's had extensive reconstructive surgery. They've taken the nerve from one of his thumbs and a lot of skin from an arm. The right side of his face will never move again. The doctors are hopeful that he will able to speak again. Had a nice time with me Mum today. Church was nice. It was the first Methodist service which I've ever attended. Afterwards we were each given a rose and were fed breakfast: granola with yogurt & strawberries plus pancakes. When we got back to the house we changed then walked along the beach for a bit.
